Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Gazi Kutay KURNAZ, an individual developer based in Türkiye ("we," "us"), for your use of the Tsunagi app (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country if higher, to use the App.
2. The App
Tsunagi is a spaced-repetition flashcard and note app. Your content is stored on your device. Some features use third-party services, as described in our Privacy Policy; your use of those features is also subject to the provider's own terms.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
3. Your Content
- You own your content. Notes, flashcards, media, and anything else you create or import ("Your Content") belong to you. We do not access it or claim any rights to it.
- You are responsible for Your Content, including having the right to store it and to link to any external content you add. Do not use the App for content that is illegal or infringes anyone's rights.
- We cannot recover Your Content. It exists only on your device, so it is lost if you uninstall the App, clear its data, or lose your device. Keep your own copy with Settings → Privacy → Export my data.
- We do not host or control content that you link to from outside the App and are not responsible for it.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the App for any unlawful purpose;
- reverse-engineer or decompile the App, except as permitted by law;
- interfere with the App's operation.
5. Intellectual Property
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control. The App, including its design, code, and branding, belongs to Gazi Kutay KURNAZ, except for Your Content and third-party open-source components.
6. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Tsunagi is a study tool. We do not guarantee any learning outcome or exam result. Review schedules are estimates from a spaced-repetition algorithm, not guarantees that you will remember something.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
8. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the App or any feature at any time. Sections 3, 6, 7, and 9 continue to apply after you stop using the App.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are subject to the courts of Türkiye, unless consumer protection law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date, and for important changes the App will ask you to confirm the new version. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. General
These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the App. If any part of these Terms is invalid, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a provision, we do not waive our right to enforce it later.
